married amid the roars of more than 100 lions, tigers and 16 more species
of exotic wild cats in sunny Tampa, Florida. What could

a tropical wedding memory on this lush, tropical, 45 acre, sanctuary. You
will have the wedding of your dreams, unlike any other, and have the
peace of mind in knowing that your wedding dollars are going to fund this
big cat refuge that is home to 100+ unwanted, abandoned and abused animals.

The ceremony will be performed by the Founder of Big Cat Rescue, who
is a Notary Public. Write your own vows, or we will provide. Carole
Baskin is flexible and has performed ceremonies in tails and hula
skirts... you decide the theme and how far you want to carry it.
The price of the service is: $200.00. Count yourself and each guest, multiply by $35.00 per person for seating on the sandy white beach and private, guided tour of the Sanctuary. If you want to capture the moment: For digital wedding photography add $400.00. This price includes a CD of all photos and a slide-show CD set to music (your favorite song or we choose), for a video of the ceremony, shot on state of the art High Definition video add another $100.00. Getting married at Big Cat Rescue is truly a unique experience. Add to
this the fact that all the money goes directly to the cats to provide
them with better Cat-A-Tats, food and health care and you have an option

Wedding Testimonial
Bobby and I got married August 29th at BigCat Rescue. We both enjoyed every second of it and the assistance that we got along the way from the volunteers and staff of BigCat ensured that *our* day was truly special.
I saw a televised wedding ceremony at a wildlife park in California a few weeks after Bobby proposed and I thought it both interesting and exciting. We didn't want a big, fancy or traditional wedding ceremony but we did want it to be memorable for ourselves, our family and our friends. I had read in the monthly newsletter that BigCat was available for such events and I wrote a letter of inquiry about eight months prior to get more details. I was really surprised when Barbara emailed me rather quickly with details, inviting us over to visit.
I was so impressed and the more I thought about it the more I was convinced this was the way to go for us. Spending our wedding dollars helping the cats that BigCat is responsible for seemed like such a wonderful way to start a life together and after our initial visit, we were sure of it.
Our *wedding consultant* Barbara was always available to answer any questions that I had along the path and reminded us several times of appropriate attire. All of my guests came prepared for both the walking tour and the weather. Summer wear was the attire of the day. My bridesmaid decided to become even more *comfortable* via a short shopping tour of the souvenir shop. We had friends from as far away as Finland come for our wedding. Everyone had a great time and we so enjoyed the walking tour afterward. What a wonderful experience!
We all learned so much from Barbara about the terrors and turmoil that so many of the cats had to endure before finally arriving at BigCat. It is a shame that they need you but it is such a wonderful habitat that you are able to provide for them.
I am a Native Floridian and it is difficult for me to explain how special a place BigCat is to me now. I grew up in a time when Florida was not quite as urbanized as it is now. It's not just the Cats that you've saved there on Easy Street but a piece of *wild* Florida. It reminded me so much at times of what it used to feel like exploring the woods with my father as a young child.
From the Guinea Hens to the Tigers, they all assisted in making our day so special. THANK YOU Carole, Barbara and all the volunteers of BigCats for providing this service for us.
