Florida law requires that all charities soliciting donations disclose their registration number and the percentage of your donation that goes to the cause and the amount that goes to the solicitor. Our registration number is CH-11409 and non-program expenses are funded from tour income, so 100% of your donations go directly to save the cats. We are a 501 c 3 charity as determined by the IRS Federal ID#59-3330495. Our 990s are available online at GuideStar.org with a complete breakdown of how your donations are spent.

Your Volunteer Committee is your voice in the guidance of Big Cat Rescue.   The Volunteer Committee devises the rules and regulations of the sanctuary pertaining to volunteers, decides the goals and ethics that guide these rules, and enforces the rules through training and discipline.

The Members of this Committee are:

Scott Lope  Operations@BigCatRescue.org   (813) 323-5991

Cathy Neumann  VP@BigCatRescue.org  (813) 690-5954

Jamie Veronica  SaveTheCats@BigCatRescue.org  (813) 323-3263

Jennifer Ruszczyk  Enrichment@BigCatRescue.org   (813) 339-6066 radio # 28723 home: 855-9751

Brian Czarnik FilmCrew@BigCatRescue.org

These members meet on the third Saturday of each month at 3:00 p.m. to discuss issues that concern the volunteers at Big Cat Rescue.  Carole Lewis sits in on these meetings in an advisory roll but decisions are made by majority vote of  the Volunteer Committee.

All suggestions and complaints should be addressed to the Committee and may be done so, via e mail, snail mail to the address below or you can leave a note in their folder that hangs on Jamie's door.
