Florida law requires that all charities soliciting donations disclose their registration number and the percentage of your donation that goes to the cause and the amount that goes to the solicitor. Our registration number is CH-11409 and non-program expenses are funded from tour income, so 100% of your donations go directly to save the cats. We are a 501 c 3 charity as determined by the IRS Federal ID#59-3330495. Our 990s are available online at GuideStar.org with a complete breakdown of how your donations are spent.

This video is very upsetting and the tiger dies in the end.  This video is a news report of a man who was mauled to death in a lion and a tiger that he had raised from cubs. Only play this video if you are over 18 and can handle the horrible news.

June 5, 2007 Mexico City, Mexico:  A tiger and lion kept in small cages on a store rooftop fatally attacked their caretaker.  Mexico City police say the man was feeding them when the felines swatted at the man's legs and pulled him down. The tiger died from complications due to sedation and shoving a block of wood in his mouth.  The 56 year old owner had raised the cats from cubs and kept them on the roof of his meat packing plant.  To see more headlines of people being killed and maimed by captive big cats and incidents of big cat escapes visit:  http://www.bigcatrescue.org/big_cat_news.htm
