“Hunter was a caracal who came to Big Cat Rescue when his owner was
forced to part with him after the zoning laws changed. Though he is only one
of hundreds and hundreds that face this predicament, he was special to us. Luckily,
he ended up with keepers here that loved him tremendously - despite his hissing
personality. We wished for him what we wish for so many- that he could
have lived up to his name and had the freedom to be the true Hunter, not trapped
