The Bearcats of Big Cat Rescue

Pappa Bear

Pappa is a Coatimundi (Nasua narica) rescued from a circus act where they had cut off all of his toes, shaved his tail and were charging people to see "the world's largest rat".   He now lives in a 2000 square foot habitat of trees, logs, shrubs and songbirds at Big Cat Rescue.  Pappa Bear’s favorite treats are raw eggs, he will hold the egg with his front feet break a whole in the top and slurp out the egg.
