Welcome to a typical day in the life of a Big Cat Rescue Intern.
Due to drought and beetle infestation we lost 56 pine trees in 2004-2005. They had to be cut down before the 2005 hurricane season, and the interns were working in the rain to remove the debris from the cage areas to prevent a fire in the case of lightning strikes. Helping the interns are their leader and a volunteer.
