Your donation to fund cage construction will be acknowledged with a permanent marble plaque to recognize your donation AND can earn an extra 20% in matching funds to support the cats.
Early this year we started raising funds for remodelling older cages. Donors to this fund are recoginized with permanent marble plaques on a large sign prominently placed by the tiger enclosures at the front of the sanctuary. The sign is pictured below.
Shere Khan, China Doll and Snorkle are three tigers who enjoy 1 acre and 3 acre enclosures that cannot be roofed. These are some of our oldest cages and were most in need of work. Thanks to the generous donors whose names appear on the sign, we raised enough to complete the remodelling of their cages. At right you can see Khan and China enjoying their large enclosure.
The remaining space on the sign is for donors who would like to help fund future cage improvements. The marble plaques to recognize these donations are sized in accordance with the size of your donation. The inscription can have your name, your company name, another person's name as a gift, or be in memory of a loved one, person or pet.
Below are the dimensions by donation size of the plaque you receive (in addition to knowing you helped provide a permanent home to some wonderful tigers.) The largest plaque, the 12x12", has enough space to include a beautiful laser engraved image of one of the cats.

TO OBTAIN 20% MATCHING FUNDS
The Transitions Championship, the PGA tournament held near the sanctuary at Innisbrook Resort, has a program called Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities to support local qualifying non profits, of which we are one. Donations made to us through their non profit entity are sent on to us with a 20% additional match until they hit the maximum they can accept.
If you would like to donate to help us remodel the enclosures, please follow the instructions below to make your donation and then separately send an email to Treasurer Howard Baskin at finances@bigcatrescue.org indicating that your donation to Birdies should be applied to the cage construction fund. Please include in the email exactly how you would like the inscription on your plaque to read.

Tax deductible. All pledges are tax deductible because Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Guess number of birdies, win prize. The form below has a spot to enter a guess on how many total birdies will be scored by all players during the tournament. Those who guess correctly win a prize to be announced. Hint: Historically the number of birdies has been between 1000 and 1300. Last year it was 1018. If you do not fill in a guess, we will make one for you.
Limited time. All donations have to be submitted by March 19, so to be sure we can get it submitted please make your donations as soon as possible and no later than March 10, 2009. The earlier the better so we can be sure to qualify for the full 20% match.
